About

I build production software end to end, and I like the problems that start as a stakeholder's complaint rather than a spec. My favorite part of the job is sitting with the people who will use the system.

I run interviews, turn complaints into user stories and acceptance criteria, and ship against what users approved beforehand. I also led a 6-person team building an AI Follicle Detector for a university biology lab that reached 0.89 F1 accuracy.

Global nonprofit with an 11-person software team serving 300 active users in 100+ countries on an enterprise Vue / C# .NET / SQL Server platform.

  • Made the Planning dashboard load its data 20x faster (10s to 0.5s) and cut its chart's database reads 93% by fixing a misplanned SQL Server query and removing duplicate API calls.
  • Shipped a flag-gated request tracer (OpenTelemetry, Jaeger) across 14 .NET repos; 3 teammates used it to cut load times 50–70% on 3 pages.
  • Remediated a critical security vulnerability by optimizing O(n²) algorithms to O(n) and adding request throttling, while delivering 40+ other production features and fixes.
  • Partnered with a product owner and business analyst to modernize a legacy .NET permissions module, turning workflow complaints into approved designs, user stories and specs.
